Designed seaman’s payroll system and personnel database improving processing time by 92%, automated Union reporting, making the paymaster role obsolete and cost-justifying computers for all vessels.

Led implementation of ERP system, extracting and converting data, establishing security, creating step-by step user procedure booklets, conducting in-house training, designing cross-functional forms and user reports, saving hundreds of thousands in outside services.

Constructed, presented, and negotiated “best value” business proposals for new commercial and government initiatives, notably involved with obtaining a maximum award of Ready Reserve vessels from presentations in Washington DC, positioning private company for sale.
