Our Business

Accounting Confidante, LLC responds to the growing need of senior level executives desiring to explore strategic imperatives and formulate holistic business plans using unbiased, independent, confidential assistance.

Since 2006, our Confidantes provided boutique advisory services ranging from assisting small private companies to prepare for stringent PCAOB audits enabling registration with the SEC, interim-CFO support for private equity fund raising initiatives, to legal, accounting, and systems implementation planning for international re-location of strategic business units in multi-national branded companies.

Managing Director

A.J. Mace, CMA, is the Managing Director of Accounting Confidante, LLC, a privately held accounting and business management consulting practice since 2006.  Previously, she was CFO and Corporate Secretary of a publicly traded alternative energy research and development company listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market and held senior management positions in accounting, finance, and information technology for international businesses in the consumer products industry and the water transportation industry.

A.J. previously served on the global Board of Directors of the Institute of Management Accountants contributing as a member of its Planning and Development Committee,  Board liaison to the Small Business Financial & Regulatory Affairs Committee, and Chair of its Audit Committee.   

A.J. received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Pace University in New York and her Master's in Business Administration from Regis University in Colorado.  She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA®).
